Incident Details:

On October 9, 2024, at approximately 06:29 AM, officers arrested a suspect on McCulloch Boulevard North for multiple DUI-related offenses and failure to carry identification as required. The suspect had previously been contacted on August 24, 2024, at Dub Campbell Parkway, where officers found him in the driver’s seat of a running vehicle under the influence of alcohol.

During the contact, officers detected a strong odor of alcohol. The suspect was incoherent, unable to walk, and had soiled himself. The suspect was transported to Havasu Regional Medical Center for medical evaluation, and a search warrant was obtained to collect blood samples.

Lab results later confirmed a blood alcohol concentration of 0.40, far exceeding legal limits. Additionally, officers discovered the suspect was a registered offender and did not have any form of identification on him at the time of the incident. The vehicle was inventoried and impounded, and officers documented empty alcohol containers inside the vehicle.

The suspect was taken into custody without further incident and booked into the Lake Havasu City jail.
