Incident Details:
On September 7, 2024, at approximately 10:37 PM, officers responded to a domestic violence incident on McCulloch Boulevard North. The suspect engaged in disruptive behavior and shoved the victim multiple times. The victim reported that earlier in the day, they had been on a boat, and the suspect had consumed a large amount of alcohol, becoming verbally abusive. The behavior continued through dinner and worsened back at their lodging.
Later that night, the suspect shoved the victim repeatedly, causing her to fall. The victim attempted to defend herself by throwing wine (not the glass) at the suspect and called the police. Before officers arrived, the suspect fled. Officers observed multiple bruises on the victim, consistent with her statement, and documented the injuries.
The suspect was located the next day. During questioning, the suspect provided vague responses and admitted to consuming alcohol but claimed he was unsure about the events of the night. The suspect was arrested for assault and disorderly conduct, both under domestic violence statutes, and transported to the Lake Havasu City jail for booking.
