At 12:56 AM the Lake Havasu City Fire Department was dispatched to the 3200 block of Tomahawk Drive after the occupant at the residence reports the smell of smoke. No smoke or flames seen. No smoke alarms triggered.
First arriving engine will be investigating the refrigerator after the caller added that it was making a weird noise earlier and believes this could be the source.
Occupant was advised to wait outside.
PD and FD arrived on scene at 1:02 AM.
First arriving engine has canceled the rest of the responding units advising they can handle.
