10:53 AM: Mohave County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) is en route to an area near Standard Wash (south of Steamboat Cove) following reports from the San Bernardino Sheriff’s Office of a potential drowning involving a male subject. Fire Boat is en route to the scene and medical personnel have been dispatched to stage at Contact Point in preparation for the response.
11:00 AM: FD has been dispatched to Contact Point as well
11:02 AM: MCSO has requested FD and medical relocated to Cattail Cove for staging
11:06 AM San Bernadino is reporting they have 1 victim on board, CPR is in progress, and en route to Cattail Cove
11:23 AM: Lake Havasu Fire Boat has been cancelled by MCSO
11:41 AM: Medical has reported patient deceased
UPDATE: We have official confirmed through local law enforcement that the male subject was a 24 year old male who was cliff diving and succumbed to his injuries.
